Dr. Orthopaedics

At Valley Orthopaedic Specialists (VOS), we offer in-house CT physical therapy services to meet the rehabilitation needs of our patients. We understand the importance of integrating patient care with our physical therapists after being treated by one of our outstanding physicians.

We assign our patients with qualified physical therapists in Connecticut right in our offices, making it possible to start treatment quickly after physician referral. Ultimately, our goal is for all of our patients to regain their independence. Quality orthopaedic physical therapy can get you back on track to enjoy your daily activities once again after an accident, injury, or surgery.

Conditions Treated

Our physical therapists specialize in treating conditions that affect your ability to function physically. Physical therapy at one of our offices may be a complementary or primary treatment option for many musculoskeletal conditions, including:

  • Bursitis
  • Lower back pain
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Parkinson’s disease

  • Acute injuries (herniated discs, sprains, torn meniscus, a broken bone, etc.)
  • Chronic injury (tennis elbow, shin splints, carpal tunnel syndrome)

We also work with older adults, helping them to improve flexibility and balance to prevent dangerous falls. Physical therapy may also help individuals recover from surgeries or simply maintain mobility and strength as they age.
